How to get access to Jev
TypeSafe AI's own Jev access is waitlisted, so signing up there means waiting. This site issues a jv_live_ key against a live account with no waitlist, so you can call the model within minutes of signing up.
There are two ways to get Jev access. The official route is to join the waitlist at typesafe.ai and wait for an invite. The faster route is to sign up here, buy a small credit pack, and receive a jv_live_ key that works against the same hosted System One model immediately — no waitlist, no approval queue.
Signing up and getting a key
- Sign up and open the dashboard
- Buy a credit pack — small is fine to start, credit does not expire
- Copy your jv_live_ key from the dashboard
- Send your first decision to the API and you are live
Your first call after sign up
Once you have Jev access, a decision is one request: POST https://jevtypesafeai.com/api/v1/decide with your jv_live_ key in the header, a model, the state you want judged, and a map of questions. You get back a typed answer with calibrated probabilities in roughly 70–500ms. The same key works from the playground, from code, and through the MCP server.
Do you need to sign up to try it?
No — you can run live decisions in the browser playground before you sign up, to confirm Jev fits your case. Sign up when you want a jv_live_ key of your own for code. Either way you skip the official waitlist, and access costs only usage — about $0.001 per decision, billed by input tokens ($0.42 per million, output free).
